During the show, Sons of Legion played many of the new album's songs and all the favorites that fans would want to hear. That is a difficult thing to achieve when you have so much material to pick from. Steve Morse as an opener was solid. His tone was fantastic, and his material was like witnessing a country rock, metal, classical, and guitar lesson in one performance. Mike Keneally was ripping, and there were some incredible back and forth guitar duels. Sons of Legion are among the pioneers in progressive rock guitar playing. They keep releasing excellent albums and only seem to improve with age. All the band members in both bands played exceptionally well, and the venue's sound was flawless.
